    Dodson Oil Company with only two employees, R.E and his wife Sylvia.

    Dodson Oil Company
    became the exclusive Quaker State Distributor for Dallas, TX and twelve surrounding counties.

    Tom Buckley
    took over until 1993, the Buckleys ran out of succession.

    R.E Dodson sold
    Dodson Oil Company

    R.E Dodson purchased
    Buckley Oil Company from the Buckley family. R.E and his son R.E (Dodd) Dodson II created a plan for aggressive growth and expansion.

    Buckley Oil Company
    Purchased TransChemical's bulk packaging facility in Wichita Falls, TX which had been servicing North Texas for 34 years.

    R.E's grandson
    Robert Rice, joined the company making it a “triple generation” effort.

  • 2009

    Buckley opened its third
    and most technologically advanced, facility in Mineral Wells, TX in an effort to better serve its growing Western demand.

    Buckley built its fourth,
    and most state-of-the-art, facility in Mid-lothian, TX. Buckley’s Midlothian facility is not only its newest blending and packag-ing plant but it also serves as the company’s headquarters

    Robert Rice
    assumed the role of President, as R.E Dodson moved into the position of Chairman of the Board.

    New Rail Spur
    built at Midlothian Facility, leading the way for the City of Midlothian's economic development plans on Railport Parkway.
